What is supervised contact? Supervised contact is the situation where the non-resident parent (the parent with whom the child does not live) has contact with the child under the supervision of another person. It is the responsibility of the supervisor to ensure that the best interests of the child are protected whilst on a contact visitation with the parent or person.

Sometimes after family separation, arranging for you, or the other parent, to spend time with your children can be stressful or frustrating
to achieve. When a child needs to have a safe, controlled situation in which to spend time with their other parent or a family member, an appropriately skilled and selected Supervised Contact Angel can supervise the visit. We aim to provide a safe, neutral, child focused environment in which arrangements for children to spend time with their family can occur.

DIAL-AN-ANGEL has been a consistent service provider of Supervised Contact assignments for many years and is used to complying with
court orders and is often mentioned in them. Supervised Contact visits are highly specialised assignments that must not be confused with general childcare and/or babysitting. These visits help children maintain a relationship with the non-custodial parent in situations where separated parents are experiencing high levels of conflict. Angels will observe the interaction between a child and his or her family at all times.

Our supervisors are highly skilled, trained and appropriately experienced in the provision of such services. They are all police cleared, personally interviewed and reference checked. They abide by a Code of Professional Conduct and undertake to maintain the highest standards of ethical behaviour at all times. They remain impartial and independent of all
parties involved. Angels are strictly present for the close supervision of the children, not as childcarers. They ensure that the best interests of the child are protected and provide a report after every visit. Only Staff Angels® (employed by DIAL-AN-ANGEL) are assigned to Supervised Contact bookings.
